Doing good

So I realized it's been awhile since I've written anything and thought I would just drop a quick post to let everyone know how we're doing. We are all good, Zoe is at the point where she is walking more than crawling, and I absolutely LOVE it!! I don't have to carry her around anymore, Yea!!! The only time this walking thing gets a little hard to deal with is when we're outside and she wants to walk on the cement. She still makes me nervous and I'm worried she'll fall and get hurt. I guess getting hurt is a part of life though and I should just let her try. Hailey and Katie are doing good, they are continuing to grow up, funny how that happens. They say the funniest things! Sometimes I'll just sit there and listen to them while they are playing, it's so funny! Not much has been going on here, but we do have a fun week ahead of us. On Tuesday we'll be eating dinner with Randy's family and discussing our year and goals we have for the upcoming year (we do this every March) I'm sure it will be a lot of fun! Then on Saturday my cousin and his wife are coming over for dinner, Sunday we're headed up to Salt Lake to have dinner with our awesome friends the Grimes and then we'll probably play games. Then on either Monday or Tuesday of next week Randy and I are going to Tucano's for dinner. The best part about this is that it will pretty much be free for both of us! I have a free meal because it's my birthday this month and Randy got a 20 dollar gift certificate from work for Tucano's so pretty much between the two we'll both eat free! I love free meals.

Other than that, not much has been going on around here, I absolutely love to read everyone's blog and I hope that everyone is doing well!!

She's walking

For the past couple of days Zoe has really started walking, it's so neat to watch her walk on her own. I am so excited for her walking to continue getting better, then I won't have to carry her around all the time! Our family is doing well, the girls are continually getting bigger, it's a little scary how fast time goes by. So I think we have decided (or rather I have decided) to wait until August to begin trying for #4. I haven't had a summer where I wasn't pregnant or nursing for a couple of years now, and I think I'd like to have one. I also have about 24 pounds I'd really like to lose before I gain 25 or 30 for the pregnancy. I think I'll be able to lose it this summer, dieting seems easier in the Spring and Summer. I think it's because you're not stuck in the house surrounded by food and snacks. Drinking water is also easier when it's hot, you know what I mean? I am excited to lose weight, I wish I wouldn't have gained the weight that I did. I was only about 7 or 8 pounds away from my goal right before Christmas, and now I'm 24 pounds away from my goal. Oh well, that's life I guess, what I really need to figure out is how to maintain my weight, that's the key. Well, I really don't have much to say, things are good right now.

I'm a Believer

Ok, so I've never been one that really believes in PMS, I always thought it was just an excuse for women to be ornery and something guys make fun of. However, I am now a believer! If you've read my last post, I had a very very bad day on Thursday, nothing really happened I just wasn't handling things emotionally at all! After I wrote my post I started to do my dishes and was thinking about my post and remembered I had written one that was kind of the same about a month ago and then it hit me. Yes, my friends, it was PMS and I had it. It was so comforting to know that I wasn't going crazy, I was just having a "day" and I would be better in the morning. Sometimes it's very difficult being a woman!! I have a wonderful husband who when I told him what I had discovered simply said, "I know, I think it's cute" How on earth could he think they way I act is cute? I don't get it, but he was glad that I realized what was wrong. I love him so much, when he came home from work he gave me my birthday present early and then he finished the dishes for me so I could play with said birthday gift (it was an iPod touch, coolest thing EVER!!)

I am so grateful for my husband, I don't know what I would do without him in my life, he is the BEST thing that's ever happened to me. So I'm good, I'm just a normal woman with normal emotions that go crazy one day a month. So don't be surprised if you see another "blue" post next month!

The deepest dark

I just want to feel like I'm not alone in the way I feel and the things I think. I want to feel like I'm loved and accepted for who I am even though I make mistakes. I know I can say the wrong thing and I know I make mistakes and hurt peoples feelings, but I wish they knew I was only human. I wish I felt my Saviors love for me, I wish I knew it was ok not to be perfect. I wish I felt like I had a grip on myself and my life. I wish I was a better mom, I wish I could make all the bad thoughts go away. I wish I could walk in the light all the time, I wish I felt the Spirit in my darkest times. I just wish I felt like someone was with me in my deepest dark

Hailey's Birthday Celebration

Ok, so here's try number 2 (actually it's attempt three) let's see if I can get this right this time. So on Sunday the 22nd, we had family over to help us sing to Hailey and eat cake and ice cream. It was a ton of fun especially because we got to see our really good friends (pretty much family) Marc and Heather and hang out with them (sorry I wasn't really involved in the hanging out process, I still had a lot of things to do, next time will be a ton of fun though because we'll be able to focus on you guys). Hailey loved everything she got, and so did Katie. Hannah and Katie were on either side of Hailey as she opened all of her gifts (she loves her Strawberry Shortcut shirt! Thanks Heather). Then we had cake and ice cream, it was a lot of fun to have everyone there, and then of course we watched the slide show I made for Hailey. I love to make slide shows for them on their birthday, it's so much fun to see how they've changed over the year. I can't believe my little girl is 5, it's crazy how fast time goes. Hailey is such a sweet little girl, she is such a social butterfly, she is friends with everyone and says hi to everyone. She always makes a friend when we go to the park, and her Preschool teacher says everyone wants to sit by her in class. She is a little "do it myself" girl, she always gets her and Katie snacks (which can be a little frustrating sometimes) and she loves to help out her sisters. She is truly a gift to our family and life wouldn't be the same without her! Happy Birthday Hailey!!
Randy decorated her cake, he did such a good job, a lot better than I did with Katie's cake!

Here's Hailey waiting for her cake to be brought out to her so we could sing.

Hannah and Katie watching Hailey unwrap her gifts, except Katie is actually helping her.

This picture is just for Heather, Jaidyn spilled his water on them, it was so funny! I wish I would have had a picture of Jaidyn's face because it was hilarious!! He was pretty upset about his water
